If your device is not displaying new content or updating as expected, it may be due to a network connectivity issue.
Begin by checking that the Ethernet cable is securely connected to the media player. A loose or faulty cable can prevent updates from being received.
Next, restart the device by unplugging it from power for 30 seconds and then reconnecting it. If the issue persists, check the device’s IP address. With the app open, press the number "0" on the remote and enter the PIN code "092024" to open the side panel. Look at square number 2 for the IP address—if it shows 127.0.0.1, the device is not receiving a network connection.
Try replacing the Ethernet cable with a known working one and ensure it is properly connected to the network switch. Once the device establishes a proper connection, the IP address should appear in the format 192.168.254.X, and the device will automatically begin updating and displaying new content.
